Casey has been with our team since 2015 as she’s finished her education. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Radford University and a Master of Music Theory from Ball State University. She is CPR certified and is currently working on her ASHA certification. Casey will be attending JMU to receive her doctorate in Audiology. Before returning to New River Valley Hearing & Balance, she taught in a K–12 setting as a band teacher. Casey’s mom is an audiologist. Originally, she worked at the front desk in the summers while she was a student and every year, she’d learn more about the hearing industry. She enjoys learning about hearing technology and helping patients hear the world around them.
Casey loves being outside, whether that’s walking her dog in the park, going on trails, or hiking in the mountains. She also enjoys gardening vegetables as well as growing tropical house plants. She loves music and plays the saxophone or bagpipes anytime she gets the chance.
